Test Tuesday: Latex Paint

In this week’s Test Tuesday, we are testing latex based paint. I am using Pittsburgh brand white paint in an eggshell finish. I masked off the top portion of each of the samples before using the brush to apply the paint. I only applied one layer.
Readi-Board samples
On the Readi-Board, Adams Premium and Readi-Grid samples the only adverse effect I noticed was that the paint made it easier to peel the paper facer away from the foam core.
Adams Premium samples
The foam on the No Paper sample was unaffected.
No Paper, Readi-Erase, Readi Water Resistant and Readi-Grid samples
The paint applied well to the Readi-Erase and Readi-Grid samples, but the paint was very easily removed by scratching the surface with my fingernail.
