Test Tuesday: Mineral Spirits

In this Test Tuesday, we are testing Mineral Spirits. I am using Sunnyside brand low odor mineral spirits. I used a brush to apply the solvent in an X shape across each of the samples, then allowed them to dry.

Readi-Board Samples

The only samples that showed a visible effect (while the paper was still attached) were the Readi-Board red and black samples. The edges the marks appear slightly darker than the rest of the paper.

Adams Premium Samples

No Paper, Readi-Erase, Readi Water Resistant and Readi-Grid samples.

The mineral spirits did affect the foam beneath the paper slightly. You can see a small variance in texture where the solvent was applied. This did not affect how difficult it was to remove the paper facers.
